Donna
Donna began working in her first animal hospital as a kennel attendant in 1993 and never looked back. She has worked as a Veterinary Technician for over eighteen years and moved to Dallas in September of 2005 after relocating from her hometown of New Orleans due to Hurricane Katrina. At the time of her relocation she was managing the practice that she started out at twelve years prior, and working as a Technician at a busy nine-doctor practice across town.
Although the position at Preston Royal Animal Clinic was intended to be a temporary one until she was able to return home, Donna became much attached to the clients, staff and patients at Preston Royal Animal Clinic and decided to remain on staff when a permanent position became available. In 2007, Donna accepted the position of technician manager, and in August of 2010 she was promoted to the position of Practice Manager.
She was quoted in the 2010 publication ‘Veterinary Caregiver's Book of Quotes: A Collection of Meditations, Short Tails, and Puppy Kisses', and is cited as a contributor in the AAHA publication ‘101 Veterinary Technician Questions Answered'.
