Nita
Senior Veterinary Technician
Nita is a senior technician with Preston Royal Animal Clinic and has been a valued member of our team since 1994. Her main interests are canine and feline nutrition. Prior to coming to Preston Royal 17 years ago Nita worked in a mixed animal practice. Outside of work Nita enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and fly fishing with her husband.
Other members of her family include Choclit, a labrador who loves to hunt, and her 2 cats; Frankie, 16yrs old, and Miss Kitty, 20yrs old.
Tori
Hospital Staff Supervisor
Tori has worked in the veterinary field since the age of 18. Through the years she has moved through the different positions at a clinic and is very familiar with each one. She has an interest in animal dentistry and nuitrition. She has worked at many clinics throughout the Dallas area before coming to our clinic in November of 2004.
Tori is owned by an 11 year old rescue cat named Spooky, and a 10 year old Papillon named Scooter.
Brent
Bathing services
Brent is a New Orleans native and has been working with animals in the veterinary field for fourteen years. His wife of twenty years also works in the animal healthcare industry and in their free time they enjoy bow hunting, going on cruises and watching the Saints!
Amanda
Veterinary Technician
Amanda is a senior technician with Preston Royal Animal Clinic and hes been a valued member of our team since 2008. She has been a technician since 2002. Amanda is currently working to become a Registered veterinary Technician, or RVT. When she is not working Amanda enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and jewelry making.
Other members of her family include Arthur, a schnauzer rescued from Hurricane Katrina, and Fats Domino, a dalmation.
Tina
Lead Client Service Representative
Tina is a senior receptionist and has been a valued memeber of of our team since 2008. She has worked in many veterinary clinics over the years. Tina finds working with people and their four legged family members to be a very rewarding job. When she is not at work Tina enjoys spending time with her husband. Other members of her family include 5 dogs; they are Kingsley, a bulldog, Smith and Wesson, 2 chi/poo's, Freida, a brussles, Kahless, a dachshund mix.
Dresden
Veterinary Technician
Dresden is a dedicated veterinary technician that has been a member of the Preston Royal family since 2008. Prior to joining the clinic, she spent several years working with various rescue organizations, from adoption events to fostering and rehoming dogs.
Dresden is highly knowledgeable, experienced and thoroughly loves to discuss anything on the subject of canine obedience training and behavior. Her other passions include Pit Bull awareness, ferrets, writing, historical and biographical reading, museums and hula-hooping.
Dresden shares her heart and home with her Psychiatric Service Animal, Penelope, an American Pit Bull Terrier and three rambunctious ferrets; Pistol, Escher and Elgar.
Krista
Veterinary Technician
Krista’s first job was at a doggie daycare center, and after three years she moved on to work for Animal Control and decided that she would like to become a veterinary assistant. After working as an assistant in a small animal practice for a couple of years, she was eager to join a practice where she could learn and grow as a technician. Krista became a part of the PRAC family in September of 2010 and has such a bubbly and outgoing personality that she is thought of as the ‘cheerleader’ amongst the staff. Krista spends her free time hunting, hiking, fishing, camping, riding mountain bikes, and is always ready to try just about any outdoor or water activity that you can think of. Krista has a two year old Chihuahua / Jack Russell mix named Cali Cooper that she adopted at only eight days old.
Christine
Veterinary Technician
Christine joined the Preston Royal family after graduating from Austin College in 2008. Christine is native to Dallas and frequently visits her family in Mexico to keep up with her Spanish. She currently resides in Addison with her cat of 5 years, Mista Fleas. As a veterinary technician her main interests are in diagnostics, client/patient education and at home health care. She hopes to further pursue these interests in an academic setting while continuing to work with Dr. Thomas and the PRAC team.
Jeremy
C.V.A.
Jeremy has been a member of the Preston Royal family since April of 2010. He previously attended Lubbock Christian University and Cedar Valley College, where he began working towards his RVT. Before coming to Preston Royal, his careers varied from limousine chauffeur to database programmer. He loves this new career (and all of the doctors he works with!) and is most fascinated by diagnostics: blood analysis, radiology and ultrasonography. Outside of work, he’s a movie buff, singer and bass guitarist, who goes water and snow skiing as much as possible. He is owned by Zydeco the Calico, who has generously allowed him to live with her for the past twelve years.
Ben
Veterinary Technician
After high school , Ben went to Bel Rea Animal Institute in Colorado and studied to be a Veterinary Technician. He has been working as a Veterinary Technician since 2002 and can’t think of a better occupation. Ben relocated to Dallas in August of 2011 and was a welcome addition to the Preston Royal family.
Ben’s hobbies are fishing, camping and enjoying the outdoors. He also enjoys watching football, playing video games and goofing around with his two younger brothers. He shares his home with two cats, Carl and Lenny.
